The International Society of Nephrology (ISN) is dedicated to advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of kidney diseases in the developing and developed world.
Since its foundation in 1960, the Society represents a wide international network and provides an efficient platform for timely scientific exchange, debate and dissemination between healthcare professionals around the world.
It is also dedicated to addressing the disparity between the developing and developed worlds in the research, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of kidney disease ISN events World Congress of Nephrology (WCN) ISN organizes WCN, the leading educational event in international nephrology, every two years in different regions of the world. WCN is targeted at the worldwide nephrology community, including physicians, academicians, and clinical researchers, as well as other healthcare professionals involved in multidisciplinary nephrology care. With attendance in the thousands, each WCN aims to advance the education of physicians and other professionals, support the development of clinical research, and facilitate the delivery of high-quality healthcare. Next WCN will take place in April 8-12, 2011 in Vancouver, Canada.
