Program

Intermingling nephrologists Conference 2012 “Systems Biology and the Kidney” focuses on emerging and ground-breaking research. It will will gather nephrologists and active investigators from surrounding medical areas to explore new scientific domains and review the latest developments in kidney disease. Using an interactive format, Intermingling nephrologists Conference 2012 will allow nephrologists to develop a collegial relationship with leading researchers from other disciplines.

The need for systems biology approaches in medicine is expanding rapidly as genone-wide technology platforms generate demands for multilevel, multidimensional analyses to model biological processes. ISN’s Forefronts on Systems Biology and the Kidney will aim to accelerate this process, bringing together leaders in applied systems biology and early adopters in nephrology.

Sessions focus on:

  • Modelling of complex dependencies in biological systems
  • Integrating genetic variance with clinical phenotypes
  • Integration of omics data sets along the regulatory continuum
  • Implementing systems biology in basic and clinical renal research
  • Hands-on seminars: “Bioinformatic boot camp”
