Invitation to Forefronts Melbourne It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the Intermingling nephrologists Conference 2012 taking place in Melbourne from October 4-7, 2012. The Forefronts 2012 in Melbourne will bring together leading nephrologists and active investigators for 4 highly interactive days. This year’s event covers Tubulointerstitial Disease in Diabetic Nephropathy.
What are Forefronts Symposia ISN Forefronts Symposia focus on emerging and ground-breaking research. They gather nephrologists and active investigators from surrounding medical areas to explore new scientific domains and review the latest developments in kidney disease. Using an interactive format, ISN Forefronts Symposia allow nephrologists to develop a collegial relationship with leading researchers from other disciplines.
Tubulointerstitial Disease in Diabetic Nephropathy Diabetic nephropathy is the most common cause of end stage renal disease across almost all countries. In this chronic renal disease, dysfunction and expansion of the cortico-tubulointerstitium of the kidney is the best predictor of progression to end stage renal disease. A greater understanding of the pathogenesis of these diverse changes is required to assess relevant targets to prevent or reverse diabetic renal disease.
