Charleston International Airport is centrally located in the Charleston metropolitan area in North Charleston. It is situated around 11 miles from the Symposium venue.

Bus from the airport

There is a bus service called CARTA. Here is a link to their information, schedules and rates :

Select: Route 11 - destination 1 "Meeting & Mary/Visitors Center" for downtown.

From there you would have to take the free trolley service to the Marriott (route 213). The whole process can take quite a while (the trolleys run every 15 minutes), as opposed to a direct trip to the hotel.

Taxi from the airport

Taxis from the airport to the venue, the Marriott Hotel, should cost around 25 USD/trip
